Music at Mansfield: Of Birds and Beasts 🎻🦜
Mansfield College presents the sixth in its professional termly concert series — a programme entitled Of Birds and Beasts, featuring Bulgarian violinist Borislava Iltcheva and American organist Jacob Benda, with two of the most loved animal-themed pieces in classical music: The Lark Ascending and The Carnival of the Animals.

🎻 Animal-inspired classics, live — Vaughan Williams’ soaring The Lark Ascending meets Saint-Saëns’ much-loved The Carnival of the Animals, performed on violin and organ in the atmospheric College Chapel
🎼 Two international performers — Borislava Iltcheva, concertmaster of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, joins Jacob Benda, Organ Area Professor and Director of Sacred Music at the University of St Thomas, Minnesota
