Japanese Tea Ceremony – May 2026 🍵🌿
Join Dr Clare Pollard, Curator of Japanese Art, for an intimate introduction to the art of tea in Japan. Held inside the Ashmolean’s authentic Japanese tea house, this one‑hour session offers a moment of calm, mindfulness, and hospitality through the preparation and sharing of matcha. Alongside the 1pm ceremony, a second session at 3pm is also available for visitors who prefer a later, quieter afternoon experience.
