Glow Your Own 2025 💡🤖
Take part in a six‑week creative engineering journey to design and build your own moving digital lantern, ready for the Oxford Light Festival. Using Arduino, LEDs, sensors, motors, and simple coding, you’ll combine art and technology with step‑by‑step guidance.
Whether you join live on Wednesdays or follow along at your own pace with recordings and worksheets, you’ll learn how to:
- Build and program a custom circuit
- Control lights and movement with sensors
- Use tools like Tinkercad to prototype your ideas
- Bring your design to life for a public light display

Book once for the full course and attend as many sessions as you like. All sessions are recorded for on‑demand viewing.
Suitable for ages 7–12, teenagers and adults. Participants will need access to a computer with > internet connection. A kit containing the required electronics will be posted after booking. No prior coding or electronics experience is required.
Recordings and worksheets will be available for those unable to attend live.
