As cities face the dual pressures of the climate emergency and widening public health inequalities, new approaches are needed to build resilience and trust. This seminar, part of the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation (GCHU) Public Seminar Series, brings together four experts to explore how community-led planning and deliberative democratic processes can shape healthier, more adaptive cities.

Speakers will examine the links between climate risk, health outcomes, and urban planning, discussing how citizen assemblies and participatory decision-making can support more equitable and effective adaptation strategies.
