Conversations with Strangers โ€“ A Leap of Faith ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

Conversation is a powerful tool for building community, deepening friendships, and understanding ourselves and others. But in an age of digital communication, are we losing touch with the art of speaking face-to-face?

In this session, Joy Richardson โ€” actor, artist, writer, and Kellogg College Artist in Residence โ€” explores how conversations with strangers can enrich our social and professional lives. She also shares extracts from her diary, reflecting on decades of unexpected encounters.

What to expect:

  • ๐Ÿงต Reflections on the value of spontaneous conversation
  • ๐ŸŒฑ How speaking with unfamiliar people strengthens community
  • ๐Ÿ“– Diary extracts from Joyโ€™s encounters with strangers
